Penalty notice
If you have a query regarding a Notice of Intended Prosecution or a Conditional Offer, or any other question relating to a specific offence, please direct your query to the Central Ticket Office.
The Camera Enforcement Unit does not re-issue paperwork relating to any offences. Any queries regarding this must be directed to the Central Ticket Office who will be able to assist.
Payment of fines
The Camera Enforcement Unit or the Central Ticket Office do not process ticket payments. Payments and payment queries for all tickets, along with fine enforcement letters and matters relating to bailiffs must be directed to the Fixed Penalty Office.
Admitting to being the driver / Nominating another driver
Upon receipt of a Notice of Intended Prosecution you will need to complete it as relevant by admitting to being the driver or nominating another driver (for example, if you borrowed your vehicle to someone or sold it)
You can do this on our online portal by following the details contained within the Notice of Intended Prosecution, or you can return the Notice of Intended Prosecution via post to the Central Ticket Office.
We cannot accept admissions or nominations via email.
Photographic evidence
Please note that the purpose of the photographic evidence is to show the vehicle activating the safety camera and not to provide identification of the driver.
If you have been sent a Notice of Intended Prosecution and require photographic evidence to identify the driver, you can view this online. The details on how to do this are contained within the Notice of Intended Prosecution.
The West Midlands Police Camera Enforcement Unit ONLY issue photographic evidence for offences with reference number beginning with 0203. Any other reference numbers WILL NOT be accepted.
